CSC-Driven Resistance to Radiotherapy

Researchers explore strategies to sensitize CSCs to radiation by targeting these resistance mechanisms, improving the overall effectiveness of radiotherapy. By overcoming CSC-driven radioresistance, this research aims to reduce the likelihood of cancer recurrence and improve patient survival rates. This track highlights the importance of developing combination therapies that target CSCs to enhance the success of radiotherapy.
